This is a one day course (JCC1) provides an overview of the Joomla! CMS and comprehensive training in the creation and categorisation of new articles using JCE (arguably the most popular WYSIWYG editor for Joomla!).

Extending on from JCC1, this course covers the creation and use of the standard Joomla! modules. It also covers the creation and use of menus.

The Joomla! Administration course provides a overview of how to Administer and Manage and a Joomla 1.6 based website and covers all of the key aspects of congfiguring the CMS and troubleshooting common problems.

The Extending Joomla! course looks at the use of extensions to add features to your website and covers the popular JCE, JEvents, JomSocial and the differences between components, plug-ins and modules.

CPPL is also able to offer training customised around the needs of your organisation — whether it's by selecting the particular lessons to be covered or arranging for in-house.

Extending J!
Extended & Customised TrainingExtending on from JCC1, this course covers the creation and use of the standard Joomla! modules. It also covers the creation and use of menus for general and advanced purposes.
The course is run 3 times a year or alternatively in-house training departments can arrange for the course to be run at a time that suites the organisations need (a minimum of 6 students required to run the course).
The course usually takes 1 full day and requires students to be uninterrupted during that time. Typically students should be ready to commence the course introduction at 0830 and be able to attend until 1630.
Breaks are provided at 1030 and 1500 for 10 minutes each.
Lunch is 30 minutes in duration and commences at 1230 — if the course is at a CPPL location then a light lunch and beverages will be supplied.
As a pre-requisite the ability to use a web browser and a strong familiarity with Joomla! article creation and publishing concepts is required.
